Frequently Asked Questions:

  • Do you take insurance? Unfortunately we do not - working across the country and the world makes insurance difficult. We aim to keep our prices competitive on direct pay.

  • Do you charge for consults? We don't! All of our consults are included with the price of our brace. We have regular check-ins as part of the process, and will do whatever it takes to make sure you have all the care you need.

  • Are these FDA-cleared products? Pectus carinatum braces are Class 1 devices, and therefore do not require FDA approval. We do however have an FDA-certified facility where we do our manufacturing.

  • Why do we need to use iPhone X or later scans? New iPhones (iPhone X, 11, 12 and 13) have a special camera on the front that's used for FaceID, which provides the detail required to get clinically accurate scans for our braces. We're excited for more phones to be released with similar technologies!

  • Do you have an NPI so we can apply for insurance reimbursement? We do! Ours is 1518605294
